Overview
Nour is a 13-year-old orphan living in the countryside in the early 1980s. He is smart, but is also a compulsive liar with vision problems and wears eyeglasses that don't quite remedy his weakened eyesight. To gain the respect of his fellow classmates, he ventures inside a haunted house right in front of the school, one that all the kids are afraid to enter. Inside, he finds a solitary old man who's hiding from the world. A friendship and apprenticeship are born between the boy and the old man, initiating a journey of self-discovery that lies at the very heart of this light-hearted drama.

Only the director Amr Salama is able to present social problems and humanitarian messages within an "Out of the Method" framework in an indirect, intelligent style, this time presenting a wonderful mixture between comedy, drama and melo-drama loaded with symbols and messages.
In the first half, the movie relies on effective humor and the character's presentation, unlike the second half, which relied on the influential drama, which was successful, thanks to the distinguished music of the musician Rageh Daoud, which had a major role in making the dramatic effect, in addition to the wonderful charisma between the main actors Majid El-Kadwany and the child Amr Sherif, who gave one of the cutest performance you will ever see.
Also, the script contains beautiful quotes that were presented in a smooth, calm and enjoyable way.
The movie is entertaining on a visual, audio and emotional level. In general, everything in the movie was made just in the right way, a unique new experience and a top family movie.
