Shashah Review

As Saudi experience that is still in the beginnings, the movie "Najd" discusses the social and economic life and living conditions in Riyadh in a wonderful image, full of nostalgia and heritage. Events took place in the fifties of the last century and in 2019, so the director succeeded in relying on time shift narrating the events, so the viewer will not see a single timeline, but rather two time lines together. Good direction and modest acting but Poor dialogue and script, you wonder how could the dialogue in 1950 resemble the dialogue in 2019 along with the largely time space.

A watch worthy Saudi work despite its many flaws.
