A complete, hearty meal with a comic and gory twist, with a few surprises along the way. Director Mark Mylod brings us a cinematic visual masterpiece that is considered one of the best in 2022. This movie succeeded in overcoming his biggest challenge, which was the lack of shooting space, as the entire movie was filmed in one room, and this raises the challenge in order to direct an exciting movie with its events. The Menu is a darkly humorous mystery thriller about the world of fine dining, with some of the best glamorous food shots in recent movie history, accompanied by high class black comedy. The movie included a cast of actors led by the wonderful Ralph Fiennes and Anya Taylor-Joy, as these two were able to carry the movie and its events on their shoulders with distinction. As for the visual aspect, the movie presented beautiful frame shots, but they are bloody with distinction, and they can be described as bold, and this gave the movie a special vibe in it. The negative point in this movie is the lack of other characters' pasts as it was impossible to relate to anything happening to them. The movie is full of bloody scenes and is not suitable for children.

One of the best meals of the year, highly recommended.
