'My Name Is Farah' will be about Farah ( Demet Özdemir ) , who had to flee her country and struggle to survive with her son illegally, witnessing a murder unintentionally and their lives intersecting with Tahir Lekesiz ( Engin Akyürek ), whom she met the same night.

In this adaptation, Demet Özdemir will play Farah, an Iranian-born mafia cleaner who fights to keep her seriously ill son alive. She will witness a murder and, therefore, her life will take a drastic turn.
