During Eid Al-Adha as people gather for prayer, Al Wali’s son speaks to them, and promise to kill all infidels, and traitors. Imam Al-Shafii returns to his daughters who welcome him happily, but will the happiness last?

The Wali’s son causes a state of anger with in the city’s streets, as the execution, and the salaries cut for the guards angered the people. He asks for Imam Al-Shafii’s location, and orders his guards to meet him, and offers him a choice.

Imam Al-Shafii wakes up to a fire burning through the house, as his daughters put out the fire, he runs to save the scripts he was writing. Al Ahwaf’s anger increase as they seek revenge for the death of Shaklab.

Amr asks for the hand of Hind but he is told that she is already engaged. Imam Al-Shafii faces a question about writing on animal’s skin. Al Wali’s son attempts to stand in defense against Al Ahwaf who seek vengeance for the death of Shaklab.

Abu Othman “Imam’s son” helps a woman to look for her lost son, but he faces the guards. Imam Al Shafii teaches the people about the religion, and the Importance of knowledge.

Abu Othman’s disappearance worries his family, his father goes out at night to find him, and is allowed to walk the streets even with the curfew. The guard pursue Al Wali’s son through the desert, as they seek to catch him.

Imam Al-Shafii teaches a lesson to the people about the importance of consulting others. While he refuses later to get closer to rulers, and he spends time with his family, and his daughters.

Al Wali’s son falls into the hands of Al Ahwaf. While the Imam’s son leaves to Al Hijaz. Later Imam Al-Shafii discusses with one of his students religious matters about God.

Imam Al-Shafii recieves a question during his lesson that leaves everyone thinking that he got embarrassed. While Al Ahwaf discuss the punishment with Al Wali for the crimes committed to them by his son.

Al Wali punishes his son for the crimes committed against Al Ahwaf to reveal that even his son will be treated equally. Imam Al-Shafii answers the question with verses of the Quran.

Imam Al-Shafii gets involved in the matter of Hind’s marriage, when she refuse to contact her admirer, who then seeks the help of Imam Al-Shafii

Hind starts hunger strike after refusing to marry Akil, her husband’s brother. While Imam Al-Shafii receives his ink, and paper so he could continue his writings.

Hind faces a disgraceful accusation from Akil, and he starts gathering witnesses, which makes Imam Al-Shafii intervenes to save the girl’s honor. Abdullah visits Imam, and offers him money that is gathered from the rich to help him gather supplies for writing his knowledge.

Akil’s rage increase over Hind, and he tells her maid to leave the house. Imam Al-Shafii’s wife blames him for standing for Hind, also some of his students leave the lessons when they heard of the case.

Al Siri is captured by the Al Jirawi’s men, later they agree to fake a message to set a role for each of them. Imam Al-Shafii visits Hind, alongside his uncle in her hiding place.

A man visits Imam Al-Shafii to ask about the matter of women’s inheritance, and that they do not allow it for women. Imam explains the matter, and the necessity of following God’s commands.

Al Siri becomes the new Wali of Fistat. While Imam Al-Shafii explains to his students the matter of inheritance of women, and that it they are as equal as men.

Imam Al-Shafii discusses with other men of knowledge the matter of following Imam’s footsteps in learning, and discusses the quote of Imam Malik “I am but a man, I am right and wrong. If my teachings agree with Quran, and Sunnah do follow it. If it disagrees then leave it”.

Imam Al-Shafii discuses with his students the matter of women’s right to use their own money without their husband’s approval.

Al Jirawi visits Suhaib to plan against Al Siri in an attempt to save Al Fistat. Lady Nafisa decide to leave the city which strikes sadness amongst the people.

Imam Al Shafii carries on his hard work, and checks his writings for errors, in order to spread his message to people. He receive requests to join sides in war, but he refuses as he seeks peace.

Fake accusations are pointed towards Imam Al Shafii from Fatyan who’s insults are beyond logic. He’s later punished for his disrespect, but even then Imam has to defend himself.

Imam Al Shafii continues writing the knowledge, receiving help from many. Jirawi attempts to enter the city but he is resisted by the people.
