Season overview
In the sixties of the twentieth century, we see through a series of events experienced by the girl Sheikha, the suffering of Kuwaiti women during the decades, especially when she gets married to the student Rashid Al-Muttafa.
Rashid returns from traveling abroad, and his mother suggests that he marries Sheikha.
The police question Saleh on charges of covering up for the fugitive Saud.
Sheikha is having a hard time coping with life in Egypt, and Rashid tries to help her accept her new life.
Rashid suggests that his wife Sheikha should go to university.
Sheikha decides to take off the abaya as she enters the university.
Rashid gets upset at Sheikha's decision to not return to Cairo out of fear from her male brothers.
Nabil quarrels with his wife Amal, and Sheikha tries to reconcile between them.

Musaed and Laila lose their son among the missing people in the Gulf War.
Alia suffers from her husband Khaled's neglect of her during their stay abroad.
Alia gives birth to her first child and decides to return to Kuwait and leave Khaled.
