Shashah Review

Will spontaneity and development wins, or do the values and principles of old society have a different opinion?

The series is based on the novel Anne in the Green Heights by Lucy Montgomery, which was published in 1908. The series was filmed on King Edward Island in Canada and this place has a lovely nature where the director made the best use of it. The series presents many issues that were the subject of discussion in that era, such as prejudice, feminine rights, and racism towards race, bullying, education and material marriage, and also this series talks on intellectual freedom and freedom of the press with great flow. The series deserves the viewer's attention because it is a smart series without complication, discussing its issues without stressing you, on the contrary, you feel after the first episode that you are comfortable watching it and even ask for more. The cast managed to play their roles excellently, and they were very impressive, led by the actress who played the main role, AmyBeth McNulty. The series focus to show that time period with great professionalism as the clothes, decorations, classical music and atmosphere were taken care of in the best possible way.

A light but wonderful series that removes worry and anxiety from the heart and gives a great dose of optimism and love. Highly recommended.
