An American comedy drama series co-created by Rami Youssef, presented in 2022 on Netflix, and starring Mo Amer as the lead character.

It follows Mo’s own real life story as a Palestinian guy, Mohammad, and his immigrant family who first escaped the war in their land, Palestine, to build a life in Kuwait, but then immigrated from Kuwait to USA, Houston, during the Gulf war was taking place there in 1999.
 The core idea seems original and the first of a kind under TV show term, and even special for it freely shows the suffering of an Arab family in USA, the most politically sensitive place for Arab, but under the cover of standup comedy style that characterized by being hilariously funny, socially and culturally intersected, realistic, and full of smart jokes, but symbolically exaggerated in some parts, and ideologically biased.
There is nothing to be impressed with if we think about performance for it seems good enough to deliver such situational comedy, whereas, it’s worth watching for sure.

Could be better. Highly recommended to watch for its specialty and enjoyability, but never suitable for under 17 years old audiences.
